וַיַּעֲמֹ֨ד הַמֶּ֜לֶךְ עַל־ עָמְדֹ֗ו וַיִּכְרֹ֣ת אֶֽת־ הַבְּרִית֮ לִפְנֵ֣י יְהוָה֒ לָלֶ֜כֶת אַחֲרֵ֣י יְהוָ֗ה וְלִשְׁמֹ֤ור אֶת־ מִצְוֹתָיו֙ וְעֵֽדְוֹתָ֣יו וְחֻקָּ֔יו בְּכָל־ לְבָבֹ֖ו וּבְכָל־ נַפְשֹׁ֑ו לַעֲשֹׂות֙ אֶת־ דִּבְרֵ֣י הַבְּרִ֔ית הַכְּתוּבִ֖ים עַל־ הַסֵּ֥פֶר הַזֶּֽה׃
